Chris Glaser

After his education, Glaser studied at Yale University and received the Master of Divinity in 1977. Glaser served after the end of his university education director at the Lazarus Project, an organization between the Presbyterian Church ( USA) and the LGBT community.

From 1976 to 1977, Glaser member of the Task Force, which was commissioned by the Presbyterian Church with the preparation of a report on homosexuality; already at this time Glaser was openly gay. The rejection of the final report of the Task Force report by the Presbyterian Church meant for glasses that he could not be ordained a priest, although he was allowed to serve as a church elder or presbyter.

On 1 November 2006 Glaser was " Christ's covenant" in the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC ) as a pastor of the church in San Francisco after he was interim pastor of a MCC church in Decatur previously (Georgia ).
