Chris Pine

Chris Pine ( born August 26, 1980 in Los Angeles, California, as Christopher Whitelaw Pine ) is an American actor.

Life

The parents of Chris Pine, Robert Pine and Gwynne Gilford, are actors. Chris Pine attended the University of California, Berkeley. He made his debut in 2003 in an episode of the television series ER - Emergency Room.

Pine played in the comedy The Princess Diaries 2 (2004) by Garry Marshall alongside Anne Hathaway, Julie Andrews and Hector Elizondo. In the thriller Confession ( 2005) he became one of the leading roles, while his father Robert Pine appeared in a supporting role. In the comedy Just My Luck (2006) Lindsay Lohan and he played the lead roles.

In the eleventh and twelfth Star Trek film directed by JJ Abrams Pine played the lead role of the young James T. Kirk, who was previously played by William Shatner.
