Chris Willis
Christopher Willis is an American singer, songwriter and music producer. Originally produced mainly gospel music, but he gained international prominence by House Music collaborations with world-renowned DJ David Guetta. Particularly successful were the singles Love Do not Let Me Go ( Walking Away ) (2006 ), Love Is Gone (2007) and Gettin 'Over You ( 2010). In August 2011 he released " Louder (Put Your Hands Up ) " his first official single.
Biography
After graduating from college in Alabama, he toured with a group that occurred within two years over a hundred times in the churches. The mid-1990s he was backup singer for the band Twila Paris. In 1996, he released his debut album Chris Willis, on which he himself wrote eight of the eleven songs. In the Nashville Music Awards it was nominated for best R & B album of 1996. In the same year he also opened the tour by Mark Lowry, and was one of several singers in the musical Emmanuel. Together with Nashville producer Norman Miller, he went national on tour. The tour has produced an album for which he has a GMA Dove Award win in 1998 for Best Special Event Album of the Year. He sang to 1998, mostly in the genre Gospel until he was taken from a small music label. The label was bought by a large company and and Willis took that as a chance to become more acquainted to obtain.
In 2000 he worked with the French band 2BE3 and made it more attention to themselves. While further work on their album one of the bandmates made him her compatriot David Guetta. The house DJ and producer invited Willis to the studio, and the next day they wrote the song Just a Little More Love. Chris was co-writer and singer of several song on Guetta 's debut album Just a Little More Love, including the title song.

His solo single Louder (Put Your Hands Up ) was released on October 12, 2010. Willis wrote the song along with Cutfather and Jonas Jeberg. The video premiere on Dailymotion was on October 26, 2010. Was filmed in Los Angeles and the video was directed by Billie Woodruff Director. The song reached the top spot on the Billboard 's Hot Dance Club Songs of 8 January 2011.
His second single, Too Much In Love was released digitally on August 16, 2011. The song uses a sample of Lenny Kravitz 's Are You Gonna Go My Single Way. The official music video was also filmed in Los Angeles and was released on 10 January 2012.
On November 29, 2011, an eight - song EP entitled premium was - Songs From The Love Ship, Vol 1 published. It has some of his solo singles.
