Christian Franz Paullini

Christian Franz Paullini (* February 25, 1643 in Eisenach, † June 10, 1712 in Eisenach ) was a medical doctor, polymath and writer in German and Latin.

Life

The multi-talented scholars came from a Eisenach merchant and academic family. He attended several Thuringian schools to eventually store on Coburg high school graduated from high school. He studied medicine and theology in Danzig, Königsberg, Rostock, Lübeck, Kiel and Copenhagen, received his master's degree at Wittenberg, and the MD degree in Leiden.
