Christian Habicht (actor)

Christian Habicht ( born December 24, 1952 in Bad Segeberg, † May 15, 2010 in Dresden ) was a German actor.

Life

He studied from 1973 to 1976 acting at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum. In 1976, he came under Ernst Wendt at the Munich Studio Theater. He had more commitment in the early 1990s at the Schauspielhaus Nuremberg, where he Hans Iver played among others in the season 1992/1993 on the side of Patricia Litten and Jochen Kuhl the Ernst Barlach's drama The poor cousin as well as at the State Theatre of Tübingen and the People's Theatre in Rostock. In Rostock he played among others Meinhard Zanger's productions of " Troilus and Cressida " by Shakespeare, " Do not run always gone," by Philip King and " Leonce and Lena " by Georg Büchner, and in Alejandro Quintana's productions "Hundred Years of Solitude " by Gabriel García Márquez and " Donna Rosita remain unmarried, or the language of flowers " by Federico García Lorca. Together with the director Andrea Moses he adapted "The Gentle " by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky on stage. In 2000 he was a member of the Faust project by Peter Stone, which all- in the role of Faust during the Expo 2000 in Hanover had its premiere with Bruno. 2003 brought him Volker Metzler at the Theater Junge Generation in Dresden. Under his direction, he played among others the Engineer Kleist in Heiner Müller's " cement " and the fist in "Faust Episode 2 " by Karsten ivy at the Festspielhaus Hellerau.

Hawk took occasional roles in film and television. In the German telenovela Sophie - Braut wider Willen he played alongside Yvonne Catterfeld the faithful and loyal servant Theodore. In the fairy tale film Hansel and Gretel (2005) he played a tree farmers.

Hawk died during a rehearsal for the staging of Nathan children for a guest to the Mülheim Theatre Days of a heart attack.
