Christian Historical Union

The Historical Christelijk - Unie ( CHU ) was a party of the Reformed Christians in the Netherlands, which on 9 July 1908 as the merger of Christelijk - Historic Partij (formed 1903) and the Bond van Kiesvereenigingen op Christelijk - Historical grondslag in de provincie Friesland ( created in 1898 ) was established. The only Prime Minister of the party was Dirk Jan de Geer, who served twice in the period between the world wars.

CHU, ARP and Katholieke Volkspartij (CIP) were in contrast to liberals and socialists as the three right because confessional parties.
