Christian Schmidt (footballer)

Christian Schmidt (* June 9, 1888, † March 19, 1917 ) was a German football player.

The goalkeeper came from Berlin and started his career at the clubs Britannia Berlin 95 Berlin Concordia. For Concordia, he played in 1910 in Arnhem against the Netherlands his first international match, which ended with a 2:4 defeat for the German team. 1913, followed by two appearances for the now playing with the Stuttgarter Kickers Schmidt against England and Switzerland, who were both also lost.

Christian Schmidt was killed in 1917 during the First World War.
