Christian Thomas (athlete)

Christian Thomas ( born March 31, 1965) is a former German long jumper.

In 1987 he won the bronze medal at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Liévin and arrived at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Indianapolis on the 15th Place. In 1990 he was fourth at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow and twelfth at the European Championships in Split.

At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994, he left in qualifying.

In 1988 and 1989 he became German Vice Champion. In the hall he was three times German Champion (1987, 1989, 1993 ) and twice runner-up (1985, 1990).

Christian Thomas started first for the LG Ahlen / Hamm and moved in 1987 to the TV Heppenheim.
