Christian V, Count of Oldenburg
Christian V of Oldenburg (c. 1342; † after April 6, 1399 ) was from 1368 to 1398 the reigning Count of Oldenburg from the House of Oldenburg.
Family
He was the son of Count Conrad I of Oldenburg (1300-1368) and Ingeborg of Holstein- Plön ( 1316-1343 ).
In 1377 he married Agnes von Hohenstein - herring (* 1360, † September 1, 1404 ), the daughter of Count Dietrich V of Hohenstein - herring (around 1306-1379 ) and Sophie of Brunswick- Wolfenbüttel ( 1340 - to 1394).
She had two children together:
- Christian VI. (around 1378-1423 )
- Dietrich (1390-1440)
