Christianity Today

Christianity Today is an American evangelical magazine. It is published by Christianity Today International, has a circulation of 180,000 (1998) and reached by its own account a readership of 300,000 people.

The authors include among other theologians such as John Stott, Philip Yancey and Ben Witherington to the advisory editors Alister McGrath, Edwin M. Yamauchi and Thomas C. Oden.

History

Christianity Today, was founded in 1956 by Billy Graham as a counterpoint to The Christian Century, the leading independent magazine of mainline Protestantism. Among the authors were already in the first years leading evangelical theologians such as FF Bruce, Edward John Carnell, Frank Gaebelein, Walter Martin and John Warwick Montgomery.
