Christina of Norway

Kristin Sverresdatter ( Norrøn: Kristín Sverrisdóttir; * around 1190 in Norway; † around 1213 ibid ) was the King of Norway Philip Simonsson woman. Her parents were the Norwegian king and leader of the Birkebeiner Sverre Sigurdsson and the Swedish king's daughter Margrete Eriksdotter. When her father died in 1202, her mother returned without returning to Sweden. As a king's daughter Kristin was not allowed to leave the country during the civil war and was therefore included in her half-brother Håkon Sverresson in Bergen. In 1209 she married in Oslo Philip Simonsson, the last king of the Norwegian Bagler. Their marriage was part of the reconciliation between the parties to the Bagler and the Birkebeiner. Kristin died at the birth of their son, who survived his mother only a few days.
