Christine Stanton

Christine Stanton (Christine Frances " Chris " Stanton, nee Annison, born December 12, 1959 in Cottesloe Town ) is a former Australian high jumper.

In 1977, she was at the Athletics World Cup in Dusseldorf sixth.

After she was missing through injury at the Commonwealth Games in 1978 in Edmonton, they came at the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 to sixth place.

In 1981, she finished fourth at the World Cup in Rome, 1982, she won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, and in 1983 she retired at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in qualifying.

According to an eleventh place finish at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles and a fifth place at the World Cup 1985 in Canberra she won in 1986 at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh.

In the World Cup 1987 in Rome, they do not make it past the first round, and at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, she was seventh.

Eight times she was Australian champion in the high jump ( 1976, 1977, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1985-1987) and once in the long jump (1981).
