Christine Vachon
Christine Vachon. (* 1962 in Manhattan, New York City ) is an American film director and film producer.
Life
Vachon studied at Brown University and graduated in 1983. As film director directed and produced several films it. Among other things, Far From Heaven ( nominated for four Academy Awards), Boys Do not Cry ( Academy Award winner), One Hour Photo, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Happiness, Velvet Goldmine, SAFE, I Shot Andy Warhol, Go Fish, Swoon, I'm Not There, Gigantic, Cracks and Cairo Time. Together with the film producer Pamela Koffler, she leads the company Killer Films.
Vachon lives with her partner Marlene McCarty in New York City and has a daughter. Her father was the photographer John Vachon.
