Christl Hintermaier

Christa " Christl " Hintermaier ( born January 30, 1946 in Bad Reichenhall ) is a German former alpine skier.

Career

Hintermaier twice took part in world championships and again at the Olympic Winter Games. At the World Championships in Portillo in 1966 it achieved 13th place in the giant slalom and 25th in slalom. In the 1970 World Cup in Val Gardena she was 16 in slalom, 18th in downhill, giant slalom and 23 in so 13th in the combined score. At the 1968 Olympic Winter Games in Grenoble, which counted as a World Cup, they reached number 16 in the slalom.

Her best result in the World Cup was a tenth place in fail -rich slalom in Oberstaufen on January 3, 1970. This was also her only placement in the World Cup points ranking. At the German Alpine Championships Hintermaier was four times second. Three times she finished in third and fourth place five times.
