Christoph Biemann

Christoph Biemann ( born August 6, 1952 in Ludwig pleasure district of Schwerin ) is a German author, director and actor. He is next to Armin Maiwald and Ralph Caspers one of the moderators of the program with the mouse and one of the experts of the quiz show Ask times but the mouse.

Life

After his studies at the Munich he worked as a freelance director at WDR - children's television. Initially active as a director of the mouse, he was seen in 1982 for the first time on the screen. Since then, he has become an integral part of the broadcast. To recognize he is at his mustache and the green sweater he wears as a trademark for public appearances.

In contrast to Armin Maiwald Biemann tried to interest in his films through comedy the kids for the themes of the show. His figure Christoph in the Box office films thus represents a clumsy middle-aged man, whose comments are unsuccessful actions from a woman's voice ( Evi Seibert or Elke Heidenreich ). For example, Christoph ate a broom with mustard or he tried to cross a river in different ways and each time was wet. Christoph never spoke in the factual stories first. With his production company Delta TV he produces since 1989 Non-Fiction for the program with the mouse.

For his services Biemann has won several awards, including in 1995 with the Federal Cross of Merit. He is patron of the Association of Heart Sick Children, SOS Children's Village Foundation and since May 2010 the official sponsor of the children's hospice for dying children Bethel.

Since 2002 he heads every two years at the Federal Academy for Cultural Education in Wolfenbüttel adult course the principle Mouse: The art of easy to explain.

In the PISA show that aired on ARD in the fall of 2003, he represented the state of Mecklenburg -Western Pomerania as a prominent candidate.
