Christoph & Lollo

Christoph Drexler and Lollo ( Lorenz ) Pichler are a Viennese singer-songwriter duo. Accompanied on the guitar by Lollo, Christoph sings written by his colleague songs. The two are a mix of comedians and musicians. The genus after they are most likely attributable to the more indie.

Biography

Christoph Lollo and are known for their " ski jumper songs ". The majority of their repertoire consists of this, they invented the genre. The lyrics tell this by the fictitious problems and preferences of actually existing, more or less known ski jumper. For example, Birger Ruud, Horst Bulau, Mika Laitinen, František Jež, Jaroslav Sakala, Josef Brzuchanski, Janne Väätäinen, Eddie Edwards and Kazuyoshi Funaki were each honored with their own song.

In 1995 they recorded their first song ( gingerbread heart ) on at a so-called open- Recording -Day. The song was discovered by Sterman and Grissemann and played in their radio show Salon Helga. Then the ORF broadcasting house more songs were recorded that were played in FM4.

In 1999, Christoph Drexler and Lollo Pichler their first album ( ski jumper songs). It was followed by numerous appearances and two other ski jumper songs albums.

In 2005, she recorded their fourth album, " Trotzdemtrotz ". This was the first CD ( with the exception of " Ari -Pekka Nikkola on the moguls " and a remix of it) is not about ski jumpers. With the song " I hate the people on TV " from " Trotzdemtrotz " they took part in the protest song contest in 2005 and finished second.

On 12 October 2007 the new album " Hitler, chicken and hell ." Once again, the album is not of ski -jumpers, but contains as the previous piece of critical texts that are circumscribed humorous.

In December 2007, Christoph & Lollo took part in the cabaret competition in Scharfrichterhaus in Passau and there won the third prize, the little executioner's ax.

In 2008 they contributed the song " Probably no pleasure " a contribution to the alternative EM- sampler with "Dear be a loser " of LasVegas Records in cooperation with FM4 and the football magazine Ballesterer.

Christoph & Lollo 2009 publish the song and sing praises Karl-Heinz Grasser is the so-called Causa around the former Minister Karl -Heinz Grasser.

Concerts

At concerts, the musicians not only play their program, but joking and also discuss between the performances extensively on issues of banks, swans and other inconsequential topics. The concert is usually terminated with the song Funaki, which has no fixed lyrics, but individual stanzas, which can be individually selected. Only the beginning and the end are always the same. Because of its popularity with the fans at the presentation usually lasts about ten minutes. Here, the sung ski jumper ( ironically) is praised to the skies and almost deified.
