Christoph Peters

Christoph Peters ( born October 11, 1966 in Kalkar ) is a German writer.

Life

Christoph Peters was from 1977 to 1986 High School Student of the Catholic boarding school Collegium Augustinianum Gaesdonck where Franz Joseph van der Grinten was one of his teachers. After Peters studied from 1988 to 1994 painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe, including Horst Egon Kalinowski and Günter Neusel finally as a master student of Meuser. From 1995 to 2000 he worked as a passenger controller at Frankfurt Rhein -Main Airport.

Peters was established in Mainz until 2000, since he lives in Berlin. With his wife, the writer Veronika Peters, he has a daughter (* 2003). His novel was The cloth of Night (2003) in the U.S. and translated into Chinese.

Peters is a member of PEN Center Germany.
