Christophe Beck
Jean -Christophe Beck (born 1972 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian film composer.
Life and work
Until 1992, he studied at Yale University. He then attended the University of Southern California and participated in a program of film scoring.
He began his career in the early 1990s on Canadian television, he composed the music for several television series. His breakthrough came with his work on the series Buffy - the Vampire Slayer, for which he backed 1997-2001 a total of 58 episodes with music over the years. In 1998, he was honored for this work with the Emmy.
Since the end of the series he is a mainly in the field of cinema productions a busy composer.
Jean -Christophe Beck is also listed under the name of Chris Beck. He is the brother of musician ( Chilly ) Gonzales.
