Christopher G. Moore

Christopher G. Moore ( born July 8, 1952) is a Canadian writer who lives and works in Bangkok.

Life and work

In his detective novels the style similar works, he describes life in Southeast Asia, especially Thailand. The city of Bangkok, where he has his protagonist, private investigator Vincent Calvino settled, is the principal scene of his novels in which both Thai society and the life of the local foreign expats ( expatriates ) is described.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Moore worked after his studies at Oxford, first as a professor of law at the University of British Columbia. In 1983 he discovered during a trip to Asia Thailand and was then as a freelance writer in Bangkok down. His first texts he published on the Internet. As an author he is especially in the Asian market very successfully.
