Christopher Hinton (animator)
Christopher Hinton ( born 1952 in Galt, Ontario ) is a Canadian film director, screenwriter and animator.
Life
Hinton began his film career in 1978 with the animated short film Canada Vignettes: Lady Frances Simpson. In the 1970s he began to work for the National Film Board of Canada. In 1991 he was nominated for an Oscar for blackfly, 2004 he received a second nomination for just a snack. 2006 his short film Cnote was awarded the Genie Award. He works as a professor at Concordia University.
