Life
Christopher Murray is the son of actor Don Murray and the film and television actress Hope Lange. The Sean Murray film composer is his brother. Even his grandparents were in the entertainment industry. His maternal grandfather was a conductor and his maternal grandmother was an actress in New York. His paternal grandfather was an actor on Broadway and father's side was his grandmother a dancer. Murray was in New York City, where he was also classmate of Chris Cooper and Tom Wright at the American Place Theater. At Carleton College in Northfield, he studied medicine.
