Christopher Shyer

Christopher Shyer (* in Downsview, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian actor.

Life and career

Shyer is the youngest of six children. Prior to his first TV role in the Canadian television series Riverdale he played for many years theaters. In 1998 he got his first starring role in the film The Falling.

Shyer had guest roles in many television series, including in Practice - Lawyers, NCIS and Monk. He was also on the side of Alec Baldwin and Jill Hennessy, which won the Emmy and Golden Globe film Nuremberg - to see in the name of humanity ( 2000).

In September 2007 he celebrated in the musical Mamma Mia! his Broadway debut in the role of Sam Carmichael, which was later acquired by Pierce Brosnan.

Shyer is also co- producer on the series Awkward - My so-called life works.
