Christopher Sutton (cyclist)

Christopher Sutton, briefly: Chris, ( born September 10, 1984) is an Australian track and road racing cyclist.

Sutton since 2006 professional with Cofidis after he went there before since August as a stagiaire. He was Australian champion in the points race and the Madison on the track and in the road race in the U23 class. The Geelong Bay Classics in 2005, he could win a race. In the UCI Oceania Tour 2005 he finished tenth overall. His first major victory he celebrated in March 2006 at the Grand Prix Cholet - Pays de la Loire. The biggest success was winning the second stage of the Vuelta a España 2011.

Chris Sutton's father is the former racing driver and current coach Gary Sutton, his uncle, the former cyclist Shane Sutton, who coached for a time the Welsh national team.
