Christos Papadimitriou (footballer)

Christos Papadimitriou (Greek Χρήστος Παπαδημητρίου, born January 10, 1994, Athens ) is a Greek football player.

Club career

AEK Athens

Christos Papadimitriou moved in 2008 to the youth department of AEK Athens. In the 2012/13 season, the offensive player completed his first professional assignments for this club. On the 3rd Round, he came off the bench in the 1-1 draw against Aris Thessaloniki in the 66th minute for Taxiarhis Foundas and thus debuted in the Super League. By the end of the season, he completed four more games. In addition to the sporting descent Athens was forced to declare bankruptcy and in May 2013 and was therefore relegated to the third tier.

RB Leipzig

At the beginning of the 2013/14 season Papadimitriou has been committed by the German third division promoted RB Leipzig. During the first round he came only to a short-term mission against SV Elversberg. Already the winter break Papadimitriou joined to Austria for FC Liefering, a farm team of FC Red Bull Salzburg.

National

When qualifying for U -19 Football Championship in 2013, he came to the Greek U-19 national team in October 2012 twice as a substitute for use.
