Production and representation
Chromium potassium sulfate is produced by the reaction of potassium dichromate and sulfuric acid. Ethanol as a reducing agent which is oxidized to acetaldehyde is used.
Use
Chromium ( III) potassium sulfate dodecahydrate is used for tanning leather.
