Chu Fu-Sung

Chu Fu -Sung (Chinese朱抚松, Pinyin Zhū Fusong; born January 15, 1915 in Hubei; † 14 June 2008) was a politician and diplomat of the Republic of China.

Life

Chu Fu - Sung Bachelor of Sociology of Shanghai University. From 1952 to 1956 he headed the Department of Information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan. From 1956 to 1960 he was Counsellor in Washington, DC From 1960 to 1962 he was Counsellor in Ottawa. From 1962 to 1965 he was deputy foreign minister in Taipei. From 1965 to 1971 he was ambassador in Madrid. From 1971 to 1974 he was ambassador in Brasilia. From 1975 to 1979 he was ambassador to Seoul. He was 19 December 1979 until April 22, 1987 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan. In 2008 he died at the age of 93 years.
