Chuck Bednarik Award

The Chuck Bednarik Award is presented annually by the Maxwell Football Club to the best defensive player in college football. Are entitled to vote, the coach of college football teams, journalists and members of the Maxwell Football Club. The selected players will be awarded annually. By awarding the prize, players increase their prestige. A cash prize is not connected with the ceremony.

The award is given in honor of Chuck Bednarik a former American football player of the Philadelphia Eagles and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
