Chuck Hoberman

Chuck Hoberman ( born 1956 in Cambridge ( Massachusetts)) is the inventor of various Faltspiele and shapes.

Hoberman studied humanities at Brown University and earned a bachelor's degree in sculpture at the Cooper Union and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University.

In 1990 he founded the company Hoberman Associates. In 1995, he was with his wife and business partner Carolyn Hoberman co-founder of Hoberman designs. His most notable game is the Hoberman Sphere. In 1997, he won the Chrysler Design Award for Innovation and Design. In 2000 he was a finalist at the Smithsonian National Design Award.
