Chudaczewo

Chudaczewo ( German Alt Kuddezow ) is a village in the northeast of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the rural community Postomino ( Pustamin ) in a circle Sławno ( Schlawe ).

Geographical location

Chudaczewo is located on the province road 203 Koszalin ( Koszalin ) and Darłowo (Rügenwalde ) with Ustka ( Stolpmünde ) connects. Until the county seat Sławno there are 12 kilometers, and according to Darłowo 16 km. Place name

The term " Kuddezow " is in use for centuries. The addition of "Alt" took place after the installation of new Kuddezow (Polish: Chudaczewko ) in the year 1753.

History

Old Kuddezow is a very old settlement and was originally created as Anger village in north-south direction around church, school and a village pond. This plant was divided by the Chausseebau so that a third of the village came south to lie.

In 1342 Kuddezow is mentioned in a document as a village owned by Hans Smorre the Younger. The Smorre among the five Kösliner founding families that founded in 1312 Rügenwalde for the second time. After the extinction of the family Smorre Kuddezow falls as a fief to the Office Rügenwalde.

In 1784 has Old Kuddezow: 1 preachers 1 clerk, 1 free mayor, 11 farmers, 3 Landkossäten, 5 Straßenkossäten, 4 Büdner, 1 preacher widow's house and one shepherd skating.

Until 1945 the village belonged to his village Ronne mountain ( today Polish: Ronino ) for District Pennekow ( Pieńkowo ) in the district Schlawe i Pom. in the district of the Prussian province of Pomerania Pomerania. On March 8, 1945 Russian troops occupied the village and taught in the school building a headquarters. In July 1945, Poland first arrived in the village, in the autumn appeared Polish militia and gave the German people the order to evacuate the place. Today Old Kuddezow under the name Chudaczewo a district of Gmina Postomino in powiat Slawienski the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Here now live 240 inhabitants.

Church

Parish Church

The Church in Old Kuddezow is in the southern part of the divided by the current voivodeship village. The tower probably dates from the 16th century. Its walls are made of boulders and large-sized bricks. The tower head to have been renewed in 1784.

The formerly Protestant church was expropriated in 1945 in favor of the Catholic Church in Poland. On 28 April 1946, there was a new consecration and dié naming Wniebowzięcia Najswiętszej Maryi Panny ( " Assumption "). Today it is no longer parish church, but a branch church in the parish of Stary Kraków ( Old Krakow).

School
