Chuffilly -Roche is a commune with 93 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Ardennes department in the Champagne- Ardenne region; it belongs to the district Vouziers and Canton Attigny.

• The well-known poet Arthur Rimbaud stopped now and then in the district of Rochester, where his mother's family owned a farm. Here he wrote as a teenager some of his poetry, including the 1873 parts of A Season in Hell. A few months before his death in late 1891, he spent several weeks in Roche as seriously ill after cancer surgery.
