ChÅ«Å, Yamanashi
Chūō (Japanese中央 市, -shi, literally: Central City ) is a town in the prefecture of Yamanashi in Japan.
Geography
Chūō lies to the east of Minami -Alps and west of Kofu.
History
Chūō was (玉 穂 町, chō ) (田 富 町, chō ) of the district Nakakoma, as well as the village of Toyotomi (豊 富 村, -mura ) established on 2 February 2006 from the former municipalities Tamaho and Tatomi of the district of Higashi- Yatsushiro.
