Church of São Martinho (Alvaredo)

The Church of Alvaredo ( Portuguese: Igreja de Igreja de São Martinho Alvaredo or ) is a Roman Catholic parish in the Portuguese municipality Alvaredo. The church is St. Dedicated to Martin of Tours.

History

Originally the church was built as a simple nave building on its cruciform layout. In the early morning hours of October 20, 1939 the church collapsed, the roof and parts of the exterior walls were destroyed.

With the reconstruction, she received another ship on the right side. The rededication took place in 1943.
