Church of the Intercession

Intercession Church is a church, monastery church or chapel, dedicated to Our Blessed Mother Mary as patron saint. There is no patron saint in the true sense, patronal feast is the day of the local Marian devotion.

Introduction

Devotion to the Mother of God as a protection assistant is old; Sub tuum praesidium of the hymn ( under your protection ) is one of the oldest known prayers Marie ( Marian antiphons ).
