CIA Memorial Wall

The CIA Memorial Wall is a memorial at the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency in Langley, Virginia. The memorial commemorates those employees who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The memorial is located on the north wall of the lobby of the headquarters. Currently, there are engraved on white marble 103 stars. Each star symbolizes a CIA employee who died in the service. Each star is 2 ¼ inches (~ 5.71 cm) wide and high and ½ inch ( ~ 1.3 cm) deep. The distance between the stars is 6 inch ( ~ 15.25 cm ). The memorial is framed by two flags, the U.S. flag on the left and the CIA flag on the right.

Is incorporated into Saffianleder book of honor ( "Book of honor" ) is another part of the memorial. The book is mounted in a steel frame below the star on the wall.
