Ciba Vision
Ciba Vision is a company for research, development, manufacture and marketing of contact lenses and contact lens care products. In almost half of all countries in the world can purchase the products from Ciba Vision. Ciba Vision has more than 6,500 employees in 40 companies and eight production. Ciba Vision is part of Novartis, a pharmaceutical company based in Basel ( Switzerland ). Currently, Ciba Vision is merged with the former Nestlé subsidiary Alcon, which Novartis acquired in the years 2008 to 2010.
Company History
The Ciba Vision GmbH has nearly 1,000 employees, the largest employer in Großwallstadt and one of the largest in the Bavarian Lower Main. Again about 150 employees work in the Ciba Vision Vertriebs GmbH Großostheim. They are responsible for the marketing and distribution of contact lenses and contact lens care products in Germany.
