Cichus (crater)

Cichus is an impact crater in southwestern lunar front side, on the eastern edge of Palus Epidemiarum, east of the crater Capuanus and southwest of White. The moderately eroded crater has inside concentric structures.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian poet, physician and astronomer Cecco d' Ascoli.
