Cieszysław, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Cieszysław ( German Augusthof ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland.

Geographical location

The village is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 37 kilometers south-east of Szczecin, about eleven kilometers northeast of Pyrzyce ( Pomerania ).

Neighboring towns are in the northwest Przylep Stary ( Old Prilipp ) and in the north Przylep Nowy ( New Prilipp ). In the southeast closes immediately, by the river Gowienica ( Hufnitz ) separately, the neighboring village Zaborsko ( Sabes ) to. In the south and west extends the Plönebruch, therein lies about one kilometer south of the village of Zaborsko ( Sabessee ).

History

The village has emerged from an estate, founded the Free Schulze of the neighboring village Sabes, called Lindemann. This was awarded in 1819 under the regulation of the landlord and peasant relations (see: Prussian agrarian ) of the village Sabes transferred his land and the church he leased land in unzertrenntem context. His estate was named Augusthof at his request in 1820.

Later, the Vorwerk Seehof was created on the banks of Sabessees addition, the lies desolate today.

In Heinrich Berghaus ' Land of the Duchy of Pomerania book (1868 ) was published as a Augusthof belonging to Sabes estate among the rural villages in the district of the domain -Rent Office Pomerania in Pyritz circle. Augusthof then counted 79 inhabitants to Augusthof were then nine residential and three commercial buildings. Augusthof belonged to the municipality Sabes, but formed an independent ground control survey district.

Before 1945 Augusthof belonged as part of the rural community Sabes for Pomerania the Prussian province of Pomerania.

After the Second World War came Augusthof how completely Pomerania to Poland. It was the Polish place names Cieszysław.

Administrative divisions
