Cigfa

Cigfa, also Cigva or Kigva, is in Celtic mythology of Wales, a legendary figure from the Mabinogion.

Mythology

Cigfa is in the First ( Pendefig Pwyll of Dyfed, " Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed " ) and third branch of the Mabinogi ( Manawydan fab Llyr, " Manawydan the son Llŷrs " ), the wife of King Pryderi of Dyfed.

After the death of Pwyll Pryderis father married his mother Rhiannon with this Manawydan. But suddenly Dyfed turned into a barren wasteland, disappear from all residents in a mysterious way - only Cigfa, Pryderi, Rhiannon and Manawydan remain. On the hunt for a white boar disappear Pryderi and Rhiannon him examined. Cigfa and Manawydan find the two in a mysterious castle, motionless tied to a golden bowl.
