Cinelerra CV has taken over the last version 2.0, but has compared to her about some improvements. This includes the editing of DV raw data as of " dvgrab - format raw " output. Although DV can also be read from Cinelerra 2.0, but only after repackaging of the data stream to a DV -AVI using " dvgrab - stdin - format dv2 < raw.dv ". Also Cinelerra CV has been improved in terms of performance, to improve the smooth playback of DV footage when editing and minimize tearing of the audio output.

Originally formed as a code rewrite of Cinelerra CV, with Lumiera a further elimination arisen that have not yet, however, is usable.
