Circle in the Sand

Circle in the Sand is a song by Belinda Carlisle from 1987, which was written by Rick Nowels and Ellen Shipley. It was included on the album Heaven on Earth and came in April 1988 as a single on the market.

History

The song entered the first time in the demo recording of the album Lost Heaven in appearance. There one could hear the drums rhythm besides slight bass tones, which was accompanied by a catchy keyboard melody. In the production of the album Thomas Dolby contributed a new tune which he combined with the bass.
