Ciro Ippolito

Ciro Ippolito (* June 27, 1947 in Naples ) is an Italian film director, producer and actor.

Life

The son of a theater impresario played as a child a role in Classe di ferro Turi Vasile. After having worked in the theater itself from the mid-1960s, he began in 1972 again with film work as an actor. After this career progressed not right, he started in 1977 with the production and scripting of home movies, including several with the Neapolitan singer Mario Merola, the big blockbusters were in this region.

From 1980 he also staged himself as one of the first Alien epigones, Alien, the seed of horror returns, under the pseudonym Sam Cromwell. After he had concentrated at the beginning of the 1990s to work for television, he returned back to the big screen in 2004. However vaniglia e cioccolato was denied greater success.
