Čistá u Horek

Čistá u Horek ( German Tschiest, formerly cista or sealed Ista ) is a municipality in Okres Semily, Liberec Region in the Czech Republic.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1365. It was then in the possession of the Duke of Opole Bolko III, who also presented in 1380 the parish priest of Tschiest. From 1381 it belonged to the estates of the Benedictine Provost Wrchlab at Klášterská Lhota, which became extinct at the beginning of the Hussite Wars. Probably the monastery was destroyed in 1421 by the owners of the adjacent dominion Arnau, the brothers Johann and Hynek Kruschina of Lichtenburg, older sources give a destruction by Žižka in 1424 to. 1436 Hynek Kruschina of Lichtenburg received the goods of the Provost Wrchlab, which he had acquired since 1420, including cista, by Emperor Sigismund as a pledge possession. 1466 cista went to the brothers Hynek and Jindřich of Wallenstein.

After numerous changes of ownership, the Traut Auer family of entrepreneurs Falge bought the estate. On 1 January 1834 Ignaz Falge sold this year the Good Ista sealed together with the reign of Charles Lomnitz Alain de Rohan Guéméné. Until the mid-19th century Czech Ista / Čistá formed an independent Allodialgut.
