Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice

The Citizens ' Coalition for Economic Justice ( CCEJ ) is a citizens' movement was founded, South Korea in 1989. This movement is working for economic justice, environmental protection, for the reunification of Korea and for democratic and social development. Although the movement does not exist two decades, it has 35,000 members and 35 branches.

The fact that the CCEJ has given citizens a voice, improvement in education could be achieved. Political alternatives have been developed and it went strong for legal reforms. The CCEJ organized many public discussions and informed the press about the concerns of citizens. The goal of economic justice was extended to the whole world.

In 2003, the CCEJ the Right Livelihood Award for their commitment to the creation of a system based on social justice reform program.
