Citizens' Party (Iceland)

The Citizens' Party ( Isl Borgaraflokkurinn ) was a party in Iceland that was between 1987 and 1994.

Albert Guðmundsson of the Independence Party founded this party and was its chairman until 1989. At its first general election in 1987 the party won 10.9% seven seats in the Althing. At the next election in 1991 the party was so fragmented that they did not compete again. In 1994 she broke up finally.
