City and Colour
City and Colour is an acoustic solo project of the (former ) Alexisonfire guitarist and vocalist Dallas Green.
The name of the project results from first and last name of the musician. Dallas, a city ( City) and the last name Green, a color ( color).
History
The first album Sometimes appeared on 1 November 2005. Previously, he released the single Missing in an edition of 1,000 copies, the profits from sales went to the Denis Morris High School Starvathon. In addition, the EP Death of Me was released in 2006 was Dallas Green from Chart Magazine voted artist of the year. For the charity album Borrowed Tunes II: A Tribute to Neil Young having him covered in 2007 the song "Cowgirl in the Sand ". On 31 May 2013, the album The Hurry and the harm with which Dallas Green was able to place in the charts first appeared.
