City of Fremantle
- 32.05115.75Koordinaten: 32 ° 3 ' S, 115 ° 45' O The City of Fremantle is a Local Government Area ( LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia. Fremantle is part of the metropolis of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. The area is 19 km ² and has about 26,000 inhabitants.
Fremantle is located on the west coast on both sides of the mouth of the Swan River approximately 12 to 17 km south-west of the city center of Perth. The seat of the City Council is located in the district of Fremantle on the south side of the estuary, where about 7500 inhabitants.
Management
The Fremantle Council has 13 members, twelve Councillor elected by the residents of the six wards ( two each from North, South, East, City, Hilton and Beaconsfield Ward). The Mayor ( Mayor ) and Council President is also elected by all residents of the City.
