The Urban University of Hong Kong ( City University of Hong Kong, CityU ) (Chinese香港 城市 大学) is one of eight universities in Hong Kong. The University located in Kowloon was founded in 1984 as Municipal Polytechnic of Hong Kong ( City Polytechnic of Hong Kong) and received on 1 January 1995 the university status.
