Civil Will-Green Party

The party of the citizens will ( Mongolian Иргэний Зориг Нам, Irgenii Zorig Nam ) is a political party in Mongolia, which was founded in March 2000.

The current chairman is Sandschaasürengiin Ojuun. The party name is a tribute to her brother, Sandschaasürengiin Dsorig, one of the leaders of the democracy movement of 1990. Zorig was assassinated in 1998. The Mongolian Parliament elections in 2008 the party won one of the 76 seats in the Mongolian Parliament, the Great Khural State. It represents a liberal conservatism and sees itself in opposition to the reform- communist MPRP, which dominates the political landscape of Mongolia as before.
