CJ van der Linde

Christoffel Johannes van der Linde ( born August 27, 1980 in Welkom, South Africa), better known as CJ van der Linde, is a South African rugby union player who plays on the position of the right pillar for the Springboks and Leinster Rugby.

His debut at the Springboks had CJ van der Linde at the age of 22 years on 16 November 2002 against Scotland at Murrayfield Stadium. He had with the Springboks in the same year a second game, this time against England.

It was not until 2004 he was again nominated for the Springboks for the games against Ireland. In 2007 he was part of the team that could win the title at the World Championships. With Leinster 2009 he won the Heineken Cup, but could not play due to an injury at the crucial part of the season.

CJ van der Linde is one of the strongest of his team's bench press 190 kg. He weighs 125 pounds and is 189 cm tall.
