CKBC-FM

Max 104.9 ( CKBC - FM) is a radio station in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada. The station began broadcasting its program on 18 April 1955. It will be sent current charts.

The station was originally broadcast on 1400 kHz. In 1966, the frequency was changed to 1360 kHz. In 2002 CKBC and other transmitting stations were taken over by the Telemedia Radio by Astral Media. On 14 November 2003, approval was granted for the conversion of AM ( medium wave) to FM ( frequency modulation ) with an output of 33.5 kW.
